1) I like that you make the explanation richer by 'annotating' the straightforaward explanation with nuances - that makes for a more informative learning experience. Few presenters mention the one-hot <-> index relationship - thanks. 2) I have a request though... There aren't ANY languages written from bottom to top, so that is essentially never intuitive. Additionally, Latin languages read left to right, so it's more intuitive to present network diagrams with inputs at the top/left and outputs at the bottom/right. In most fields that I'm aware of, that's the de facto standard. It's also handy when diagrams get too large to fit on a page and you are forced to scroll DOWN to see the next part of a time-ordered process. Scrolling UP to see things that are causally DOWNSTREAM is coounterintuitive and often clumsy for the presenter, certainly for the reader.
