Clinojimthompsonite and Chesterite (Ep6)

Nature is elegant in its order amidst chaos, and mineralogy is no exception to the rule. In the 1970s, Jim Thompson came up with the brilliant idea that many common minerals are made from the same building blocks (modular mineralogical theory). Using this theory, he correctly predicted the existence of two minerals, later named jimthompsonite and chesterite.
