And it is also unfair to ask the society to not judge or to respond always positively as any given society is a complex amalgamation of different individuals, So as long as their is individuals there will always be different judgement and responses no matter what one tries to do so it is the responsibility of an individual to orient himself or herself accordingly the need of the situation, there should never be any prescription.

Being vulnerable and being weak are not the same thing. Showing vulnerability is an act of strength. The thing that is wrong here is that they are representing being "MANLY" as not showing emotions, being a man is not about suppressing emotions but to find a way of dealing with them and not complaining about it without doing anything.
Please don't show masculinity as something bad or toxic, masculinity and femininity both have their roll in a person's life, it is past trauma that that enacts itself as the toxic part.
