I've been working on my LEGO Modular collection for the LEGO City for three or four years now, and so many of them are way too expensive. I can't believe I found this one today! I remember seeing it for sale at another store a few years ago, but it was in really bad shape for hundreds more than what we paid here for it. It was such a blast from the past finding Blacktron, M-Tron, Bionicle, and other retired themes as well as some sets from the golden age of LEGO (2012-2013) new in box.

Ross is not the only one who thinks of the All American Rejects when he sees Bionicle. That tv commercial featuring the song defined my childhood! I still think of Bionicle when I hear that song. I still have all of my Bionicle from when I was young. Many fond memories assembling and playing with those sets.

OMG! I used to own some of those M Tron and Black Tron sets growing up. Lost them in a move. Making me cry watching this. I hope they still have some left when I am able to go there.

I actually got all that Blacktron an Mtron stuff on eBay for around $300 about 10 years ago. Those set sets were my childhood favorites in the 80s. My best friend had so many of them!

The amount, and depth of, knowledge Ross has in regards to LEGO (especially Star Wars) sets is seriously impressive!

That M Tron and Black Tron stuff was in the LEGO catalogue when I was a kid but I was more interested in the Classic Pirates stuff. Eldorado Fortress was my White Whale at the time and I ended up finding a copy when I was thirteen. It had been out of print for a couple of years by that point, I think someone put a laybuy down for it and forgot about it and it sat out the back in the toy department of the department store until it was found gathering dust by staff, put back on sale and purchased by me. I’m going to redo an updated Eldorado Fortress MOC one day. It’s going to be huge, like 20 thousand pieces.

I had that Space Police ship! Spyrius, Space Police 2, and Ice Planet were what got me interested in Lego because I've always loved space and spaceships.
