First of all: that set is insane, amazing job by the designers and great minifigure selection
Second of all: $260? God damn that is way too overpriced

the moment you said $260, 90% of my enjoyment for this set just vanished.

it’s sadly not as memorable many other locations that decide they wanna price around the $250-$400 range. yes, there’s a lot of figures, and a crazy amount of detail. but i remember when harry potter sets were targeted more with functionality and play in mind, with a handful of mini figures, some play features, all for less than $120-$150

this could’ve easily served as a $150-$170 at maximum set nowadays, with half the minifigs, and about 800-1000 pieces removed.

i really like the build, but the price is astronomical.
