They Were Trapped Underground for 69 Days. This Is Their Story

Показать описание
In August 2010, 33 miners were trapped underground in the San José Mine in northern Chile after a cave-in, leaving them about 700 meters (2,300 feet) below the surface. For 17 days, the miners were cut off from the outside world, with no communication and little hope of survival. Miraculously, on August 22, rescuers made contact with the miners, and a massive rescue operation began. Over the course of 69 days, the miners endured extreme conditions, limited food, and psychological strain. The operation to bring them to safety used a specially designed drill to reach them, and on October 13, all 33 miners were rescued in what became a global symbol of survival and hope against all odds.

This shows how even in the most darkest, most quiet, most soul shattering, most cold, most psychologically torturous, and most depressing times for any person
*The human will makes the impossible possible, or dies knowing they put fourth everything they had, down to the bottom of their heart*

There’s a movie about this I think.
A little bit.
It’s about minors getting stuck in a cave and truck drivers have to bring something so they can escape. The truck drivers get hurt and other bad stuff.

I recognized this heartwarming story from a scholastic book called
Danger is my job and I recognized the image of a coal miner hugging a rescuer from the book also.

Another reason why cave miners or whatever shouldn’t enter every single crack they encounter
