Chevy has shocked the world with the all new ZR1. Powering this legend is 5.5L twin-turbo V8 churning out 1,064HP & mated to a beefed up 8-speed DCT. What a car, something I didn't think I'd ever say about a Corvette, but the C8 just keep impressing. I would have ZR1 just as it's seen here in this exact configuration. That color combo is just perfect.

Zora Arkus-Duntov came up with a mid rear engine prototype in the 60's but GM couldn't endorse production due to high costs etc. But dreams do come true even after the fact, "Legends never die"

1990 I was 23 years old. I had bought a brand new 1988 Mustang GT in the day. Since then I've owned a 1988 Z51 Corvette, a 1991 ZR-1 Corvette, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V, a 2013 Audi S5, and now a 2016 Z06, 3LZ Convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic! I love my Corvette. I would love to have a new Z06 or a ZR1 but for the price, I either have to wait or just enjoy my C7. Thanks for the video Joe!!
