The musicianship, arrangement, background vocals are simply bar none the best rendition ever made...IMO. The Queen showed up laid down her vocals effortlessly. Almost like she wanted to make sure we felt and understood these lyrics without question. Amazing. You have to listen twice. Once for the lyrics and again for the arrangement. Chilling

At the end of the Movie this song played many were leaving BUT Many were paralyzed some with tears streaming The Queen 👑 Aretha Franklin took this to the heaven. BRAVO Well Done

I have listened to this song numerous times and if you close your eyes and see what was going on back in Malcolm's and MLK time this song fits the bill
I can't help by shed a tear, I was born in 1961, and I love this one!

That choir, though. Those sopranos! The way they soared up to the high C each time near the end! Both Donny Hathaway's and Aretha Franklin's versions of "Someday We'll All Be Free" are terrific, but this one really stands out in my mind.
