The Race That Never Happened SFSU COVID Shutdown

This is a little glimpse into how abruptly things changed due to events that were happening at that time. The days leading up to the shutdown I was staying late to help various classmates with their racing carts and this one for my classmate Sarah was coming along really nice until we came back from testing to tear down for the night and ran into an instructor we know who broke the sad news that the school was effectively closed... The next morning I showed up to help her get some supplies out of my locker and met with an instructor I knew to hand off some footage of the earlier day's race and racecar photos.

Sadly it sounds like there will be no official "race" next semester which is a huge shame as these students were spending hours working on their vehicles and the product design 3-wheel cart race is a huge deal to witness as no one truly knows how it will go down until it goes down. And it is also a great team bonding experience for the class. Hopefully, something can be done but I am unsure of that.
