Great video. Can you set it up (or is it set up to automatically) to turn the fan on high speed first and then automatically turn the speed down a moment later to low if you give it a command to turn the fan onto low even if the fan is off to begin with.
The reason I ask this is that turning on fans from off immediately to low speed will wear out the capacitors of some ceiling fans. This is why most fan manufacturers tell you to start the fan on high before turning the speed to a low speed.

You can get the same feature with a Logitech Harmony remote and then you use your mobile phone or the remote to control the fan.

Have you tried the broadlink rm pro in controlling your rf ceiling fan? I just cant get it to pair the rf controller to the broadlink. Thanks

Did u test the range? Got 4 ceiling fans, want Alexa to control all (small house). Also can Alexa control light dimming? Thanks, Phil

Ok I have a question that I have been researching and can’t get a true definitive answer. Bond touts this as an IR blaster. With that being said; will I be able to integrate this into my smart things automation and a harmony Logitech Elite remote? I’m not sure how far you went into integrating this into your home automation setup but Bond couldn’t give me a true answer nor forums on the internet.
