A close friend called me today and told me that he only had a few days left due to his fight with cancer. I’m traveling to see him tomorrow for one final goodbye.
This video randomly showed up in my feed. And I’m thankful it did. It gave me a moment to grieve appropriately. I’ve been holding it together as best I could. Thank you

love seeing everyone that got here with no explanation just accept it. it’s been one of those days where it just felt long and i’m ready for the week but know it’s going to be busy. i’m excited the holiday is here but filled with dread that it’s works busiest time of the year. with college and multiple open to close. stress is just building but hearing this and typing it at the moment i feel peace. and makes me almost excited for the holidays, hoping i can feel that joy i used to when i was young. The time you would see lights change, music change, stores change and feel that people around us or more in a calm state for the holidays and happy for it. i wish i could feel that again. Time for bed hoping whoever reads this can smile and even though it’s hard it will get better just takes time. i don’t like to wait i bet you don’t either but you read this so you have time. let’s wait together and see what the world has in store.
