I know what Crystal Gems really are, they are allegory for doing it. Think about it, they do suggestive poses and dances before fusing, they fuse for love, Garnet is literally two girlfriends in one body, and part of the reason Pearl didn't initially like Greg was because he had a baby with Rose. Jasper and Lapis's relationship is a metaphor for abuse even though Lapis was the abuser, and Season 5 literally ended with a wedding.

In my class my teacher is having my whole class read a book called Role of Thunder Hear My Cry. Now instead of talking about the racist terms used within the book, or how the book brings up very important topics, I want to talk about one of the characters in the book, a teacher named Ms. Crocker, I had to stay strong willed with that one.
