1) You two are hilarious and I love when you shop together. 2) You TOTALLY should have done a head staging challenge! It’s not too late! You can make it a short! LOL

The embroidered fabric is an antique sandwich wrap Emily era 1920's. It has an oriental Tori gate with trees that then has a Zen garden scene. So it is likely to remind the person eating their lunch/meal to relax as though you are at an Asian park entrance . where you enter through the gate and find solitude and peace at the Zen garden. I found some while living in Japan during the mid 1970's. A very rare find, I am so happy you bought them. They sell anywhere from $7.50 to $20 each.

“I can hear the awkward silence coming through the screen”. Jesse is spot on.

That little wood candle holder was made by artist Dixie Wajdic. She is from Lakeside Montana by Flathead Lake and these pieces are made from old cedar fence posts. She is very prolific and I would not be surprised if that number reflects it being the 1806th piece she has made.

Jessie with that head had me cracking up.

The metal fold up tray was for a Kodak Carousel Slide Projector. My dad had one and it had a plug in "remote" that operated the advancement of the slides. High Tech for the 70's!

I'm dreading the end of this series; the head totally needs to be styled.

I think Jesse should have a vintage booth, filled with "man cave" items. A niche we don't see often. Now, of course, he will need to take us along on his thrifting too, but we need that along with your regular videos.

I love that you went back for the head! Think of the fabulousness it can bring to your life with possible pranking and general humor. Please let us know if you name it. I would prank family members by putting it in the fridge.

I favor the idea of napkins for an afternoon tea, as there were so many of them. I think the embroidery represents a garden structure, probably a tea house. A roofed structure with open air sides that is useful but also provides an eye catching point of interest to the landscape. Always more fun with Jesse around! This is the best series!

When I was 12 years old, I traveled from CA to Idaho with my parents and Aunt/Uncle. We visited a great- aunt there. She showed me how to make little rocking chair with a pin cushion seat out of a soda can. She rolled strips of the can to make quite a fancy looking chair. That was in 1967. Blessings, Janell

Jesse often verbalizes what I am thinking at the same moment. I was thinking “grenade” lamp when he mentioned it. In a previous video he commented he didn’t care for clear vases, because he didn’t like to see the stems; I agree! His comments on bronzed baby shoes were also right in line with my opinion. Kindred spirits!
