I really feel like spica and bb can't tell their veteran teammates to follow their calls just because of how much power bjerg and doublelift can have on their status in the team. I know people say bjerg is a great teammate and whatever, but just the fact that he and doublelift have so much say on the team can be intimidating. Just my thoughts

They lost every game because their nexus exploded.

They should work on that

Worst part of the Baron steal was that Spica was telling the team to help secure it but no one replied or acted. Check out TSM legends video. So hearthbraking that scene

NA might actually have a chance this year!
Gets stomped...
GGs we'll try harder next year!
A bunch of content around what NA can do better
Nothing actually changes
Rinse and repeat

I just want NA to do well ):

I remember seeing your video about how you thought about TSM were going to do and if they could get out of groups. I commented on the preparation for the players and I think you hit it with this video. The coaches and the staff should be preparing these players mentally through all the things you mentioned and how to handle this stage if they want a chance at getting out of the group. But clearly they didn't and it showed, sadly.

Main reason TSM lost all 6 games? They lost the first game against FNC.

Doublelift said it himself that if they couldn't beat Fnatic, they couldn't get out of groups. And after that game 1 stomp (FNC just took a Dragon and then Baron for free at 22 min!), I just felt that Doublelift had no more mental power to keep fighting. His poor mental translated to the rest of the team.

We saw mental play a huge part in Worlds this year, again and again. DRX v DWG? DRX looked like they gave up 3 minutes into game 1 of the quarterfinals. FNC v TES? Huge mental from FNC until game 4, lost mental and then lost everything. You would think a veteran like Doublelift could withstand that pressure, but it seemed like Spica and Brokenblade held stronger. Spica needs to find a new team. His talent is being suppressed on TSM.

I feel bad for Spica, he really got fucked over by his team, honestly.

Spring split C9 was NA’s only hope
Gutted to not get the chance to see that team play against international competition

TSM keeps running with the mentality that every game will just go late and they'll just steamroll them because they can't be out teamfighted late. But that's not how this game works anymore.

sorry but NA will never get to the top of the ladder again. Unless the game is close to dying and other regions fall off. NA has shown over and over again it can't compete for a number of factors. At this point just be happy if they get out of groups but don't expect more than that

I like how you didn't even mention the 9 man sleep or the baron for nexus trade in games 5 and 6 because TSM was just ruined from the first games. As an european fan of TSM i still hope NA and TSM just upgrate themselfs and prove they are on the same page as Europe and even China and Korea. I really liked the video and i can't do anything except hope that Bjergsen becomes the best NA coach and makes and amazing new TSM

I heard someone say something that I agree with. NA players that play with high ping will not make risky plays simply because even if they know they can pull it off, They cannot trust their ping. This will make NA players play safer by habit rather than by lack of skill

Most of they games were shitshows but the game vs gen g takes the cake. How can they be scared when the entire enemy team is cced?

4:21 Btw most, if not all, of TSM's critics comes from their own fanbase. Look no further than the TSM subreddit after a loss. The TSM fanbase is one of the worst fanbases in esports and it isn't even close. BB will be hailed as a hero one day then the next, he needs to be cut. Its a joke how this fanbase operates and they only have themselves to blame for any undo pressure placed on players and coaches.

Great video overall, but there are certain things that I would like to politely disagree with you. First of all, the psychology "fear" effect is sort of an "eh" thing. Like I hope you understand that team liquid got placed in group A with G2, Suning and Machi. After team liquid lost to machi and suning in week 1, they were able to get a great victory against G2, who is one of the better teams in worlds right now. Why do I not see the "fear" effect here then? Please don't tell me that these players won't get bashed by the community. Players like impact/broxah/coreJJ have been lowkey irrelevant internationally for the past 2-3 years, and team liquid is built to compete at a higher level, so I honestly don't get it. + Team liquid had a great second week despite starting off terribly, albeit that victory against G2 in week 1 was kinda huge. Next, the biggest problem with NA is this: they refuse to give young talents any sort of opportunities. The evidence is really obvious, just look at the NA LCS rosters for 2020 spring. I have to cringe super hard when I saw immortals sign SOAz and Eika of all people. Like you have so many players to sign and immortals decided to sign a top laner who is long past his prime and also Eika who is not even known for his mechanics or whatever. Like, every single god damn year, I do not see any rookies getting a spot in NA teams because teams just shuffle around players who are already past their prime. The only exception is c9 who is willing to make changes necessary to compete. For example, when impact left c9, they brought in licorice and he was actually doing well. All NA does in general is just import players who are washed up and then try to build a random roster that might look good on paper. Also, if I may add, the dive from TSM vs LGD was not a risky play at all, all TSM members have their flashes up except for biofrost, and d lift had heal, they definitely could've kill more people there and get away free, so I honestly don't get why they don't do it. The FNC TSM game 2, 4 members of tsm just watched selfmade in the brush and let him come in was so f ing dumb to watch too. + in general in think TSM is a terrible organisation, after what they did to dardoch. Idk where is their professionalism but ok. Bjergsen also looks extremely washed up because he plays so safe every god damn game. Edit: I specifically mean how Team liquid is built to compete and yet they always fail to make it out of groups, two years in a row with impact corejj and jensen.

Why did TSM go 0-6? Simple, they were outclassed in each and every way by the other teams.

It was obvious to anyone with eyes TSM was going to fail at worlds. They had 1 style which was "BB Carry." And while that worked in NA, no way was it going to work against the brawling style of China, the crushing style of Korea, and the strangling style of EU. Had you put Flyquest, or TL in that group, I am certain they would have gotten some wins and I honestly could see them getting out IF they played at their top level.

As for the infistructure of why NA sucks, there is a big reason. NA is full of sh-- bags. If you go to Korea and in solo queue say you are on your Promos, they will go all out for you and do their best to make sure you win. Do that in NA, you are more likely to get a troll who will int. In EU, if you fumble and make a bar mistake, they won't flame you and will work to pick you up and carry you to victory. In na, if you make a mistake, then you might as well just crucify yourself. Also, EU, China, and Korea all have industrys that build up young Talent. In NA, only Cloud9 is working to build up young talent.
