[4K] Impressive Italian Air Force Eurofighter F-2000A Typhoon Display - RAF Fairford RIAT 2022

The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) display their Eurofighter F-2000A Typhoon at RAF Fairford, the Royal International Air Tattoo 2022.

The Reparto Sperimentale Volo (RSV), which is the Italian Air Force Flight Test Wing, the 311 Gruppo who get the honour to take part in displaying at airshows. The RSV are based at Pratica di Mare Air Base.

So, the RAF Typhoon Display Team choose their pilots from their OCU (Operational Conversion Unit) which is 29 Squadron, based at Ted's home, RAF Coningsby. The Italian Air Force Typhoon Display pilots are selected from the equivalent of the RAF's 41 Test and Evaluation Squadron, which is the Reparto Sperimentale Volo (RSV). An interesting difference in the selection categoty.

Looking good mashing up the place! They do look photogenic in flight, delta wing and fins give it distinctive silhouette! Unmistakably a Eurofighter.
Undoubtedly the sound of an aggressor on a leash! Tame the Eurofighter F2000 (UK Typhoon). Italians Airforce thank you and I'm glad we are on your side.. Crucial display..

Ohhhh This bad boy had the privilege of starting the flying programme and he certainly cleared any lingering wax from the ears!!! I have to give honourable mention to the Austrian Typhoons - I really enjoyed the QRA demo and the display with the pair of them was just shaping up to be a thing of beauty when the dreaded "tech" struck and curtailed the whole thing - pity really because I reckon that was going to be a heck of a

Great pilot, fantastic airplane...!!! Flying a Eurofighter Typhoon like this requires a lot of preparation and a lot of skill, usually the Italian pilots, who perform in displays like this, come from the "Reparto Sperimentale di Volo", where very valid test pilots work. I am a former officer of the Italian Air Force, who worked for many years in the control tower. Great job to whoever made the video too. Compliments.
