God is good indeed. He freely reveals His truth to those who earnestly seek Him. May he continue using you my brother for His glory. and protect you

It's simple in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Who is the word? Rightly divide the word of truth brothers. Take the whole bible and put it into context. Jesus said father glorify me in your presence with the glory I had before the world began, . Again what glory did jesus have before? He was the word. What was the word? God.

Little side note ... the Greek word "eis" translated "one" here in 1 John 5:7, 8 does not mean a truine god. If it did, there is a huge problem. Jesus used the same Greek word "eis" concerning his followers in prayer saying,

"I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word, 21so that they may all be *one, * just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.22*I have given them the glory that you have given me, * in order that they may be *one* just as we are *one.*23I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be *perfected into one, * so that the *world may know that you sent me* and that you loved them just as you loved me." - John 17:20-23

Every time you read the translated Greek word, "eis" is used concerning all (the Apostles, Disciple of then and future, Jehovah\Yahweh God, and Jesus) are viewed as one. So if you wish to believe the the Greek word one means a triune god, then you have to also include the Apostles, Disciple of then and future! Yep huge problem now we are not talking just 3 but for it turns into millions ...

So yes even if it was authentic in the scripture, it does not testify to a Trinity god. The word "eis" simply means one in union, bearing record of agreement. There is nothing in scripture that says all 3 are "eis theos". It called going beyond what is written adding context to scripture that not there ... which is also called lying.

This verse is not in the original manuscripts. It was added by the Catholics. It’s noted in the footnotes in most bibles.

1 John 5:7 is a latter assertion. It's not written in the older found manuscripts.

Literally, the concept of the trinity is in the first book of the Bible, Genesis 1:26 and 1:27. The author uses the plural pronoun "our" for God. Then in verse 27 the author uses a singular pronoun "Him" for God

John 1:1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the *Word was with God*, and the *Word was God* .

John 1:14
14 And the Word was *made flesh*, and *dwelt among us*
, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.

Word = Jesus= God= Trinity

Excellent study on this scripture, including great support from the SDA Biblical Research Institute not to rely on it, which hopefully will lead deceived SDA's back to the truth held by the founders. If they just read all of 1 John, exclusive of this added text, coupled with John 17:3 and Matthew 16:16-18 to quote a few, it is crystal clear what Jesus is telling us -- and "this is life eternal", so of critical importance for us to understand. It breaks my heart to see the success Satan has had in deceiving the whole world, even God's "remnant church" that is casting aside the great light it was given. I am so very grateful that as I continue to seek after Him with all my heart, soul and mind, He continues to open up His Word to reveal more truth. Praise our awesome, mighty and loving God, who never changes and is not the author of confusion.

There are many other verses telling us that Christ was/is God. An example (John 1:1; 20:28; 8:58, Exodus 3:14 etc...)

In Him dwells *_All the Fullness_* of God in bodily form. Col 2:9
He is the visible representation of the invisible God. Col 1:15
...the Father is in Me and I am in the Father John 10:38
Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Phil 2:6
Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ Titus 2:13
Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel *_and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:_* “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no God. Isaiah 44:6
No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him John 1:18
"...I and the Father are one.” The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.” John 10:30-33

Therefore Adonai Himself will give you a sign:

Behold, the virgin will conceive.
When she is giving birth to a son,
she will call his name *_God with us_* Isaiah 7:14

Acts 5:1-4 (KJV), The Holy Ghost and God are One. Without controversy and seamlessly. Let no man deceive you by any means. 1 John 5:8 (KJV) These three testify, bear witness, that the three, 1 John 5:7 (KJV) are One.

Your analysis reminds me of Romans1:22: "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".
Get one drop of water, add another drop to it, then a third one, and what to you get? ONE drop of water of course.
Simple, don't complicate things. Observe the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple Stupid!).

Genesis 18:1-3 please read this
The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
18:2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
18: He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by.

Why GOD is 3 men and why Abraham say my LORD 1 to them

The trinity theories have earned characterizations like ‘absurd’ and ‘ridiculous’ the entire narrative of Scripture relies on the proper relationship of the Father and Son. . The Vineyard owner, the headship principal, even that mankind is made in His image.. all depend on individual identity.

I was a Unitarian at one time but the trinity cannot be denied! And I know that the verse in question may have been added. Nevertheless the truth of the matter is that Christ was crucified for blasphemy ! Mark 2:7 And John 10:33 The Lord Jesus Christ forgives sins as only God can do and the Lord Jesus Christ testifies of the father as only someone who is equal to the other can do! According to the law of Moses testimony of two or three witnesses is sufficient to establish the truth! Deuteronomy 17:6
2 Corinthians 13:1 ect In the Trinity we have three witnesses, the spirit and son testify of the father. The father and the son testify the spirit. And the father and the spirit testify of the son! Read John 1- Colossians 1-
Hebrews 1 testifies of the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and our permission to worship Him, as well as many other scriptures! If we were to ask did God create the world or did Jesus create the world the answer can only be Yes!😄 The Lord himself asks the question what if you see the Son of Man return to heaven from whence he came, which statement attests to the pre-incarnation of the word of God!
Finally in considering the attributes of God i.e. all powerful and all knowing and everywhere present, Logic tells you that if you have one you have all three!
