The dumbest criminal I ever saw was a guy who managed to get a really large cement block and tried to chuck it at a stores front window. The window was plastic and it bounced back, hitting the guy in the head and knocking him out.

I remember working at Walmart and this lady was paying for her stuff and her daughter said don't forget to pay for the watch you took out of the box and put on your hand.
She tried to play it off and I called security as she was walking out the door.
Let's just say she had a lot more than the watch. All of us were in hysterics.

The guy who got hung up on the fence should have listened to his mother when she told him to always wear clean underwear in case you get in an accident. That is very good advice and I follow it to this very day.

I may have uncovered the absolutely stupidest criminal of all time. Years ago, my Target card was hacked. The criminals bought a $600 camera with it. they mailed it to my house. Brilliant work, guys!

When I was at a local store, this shoplifter trying to shoplift some high quality meat, and her kid immediately goes "Mommy I don't want meat, I want fish!!" and everyone looked at her stuffing meats onto her shirt. The staff spent few good minutes to laugh at her before calling the cops, and the child got a nice amount of tuna as a gift. When the news got viral in our city, the child confessed that he had no idea why he got so many tuna just to yell at his mom. He doesn't even want tuna, he wants salmon.

Here in Brazil a thief tried to break inside a house thru a tipper; he used a box to climb on to open it and get inside, but as he had the head inside the tipper the box slipped and the way it happened he got hanged and died - getting a Darwin Award

My Sister worked at a grocery store. Security stopped a lady after she walked out the door. All they did was chat with her. And chat. And chat. Finally she said, "Oh Hell, " spread her legs a bit, and a frozen turkey dropped to the ground. 🦃

I remember a criminal who, after learning about lemon juice being used to make invisible ink, slathered his face with it and attempted to rob a bank. He was surprised when police arrested him later that night, and even stated, "But I wore the juice" lol. He thought it would make his face invisible to the security cameras.
