Talent Agency DROPS Susan Sarandon Over Pro-Palestinian Rally Speech

Actor Susan Sarandon was dropped by United Talent Agency for her speeches at pro-Palestinian rallies. Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola discuss on The Young Turks.

"As tensions continue to mount in Hollywood over the Israel-Hamas war, United Talent Agency has dropped actor Susan Sarandon as a client after comments she made about the conflict.

Sarandon was criticized earlier this month for her remarks at a pro-Palestinian rally in New York. The actor, who has starred in movies including "Thelma & Louise" and "Dead Man Walking," called for a cease-fire, according to the New York Post."

Nothing Susan Sarandon said is objectionable, even controversial. It's clear that the ones using their power against her were just trying to shut her up.
The only positive spin I can see on this, is that these heavy handed actions reek of desperation.
Israel has lost the arguments in the public debate, that's why their using force to silence their critics.
