For anyone who doesn't know the story of this track in specific it's kind of wild:
Toby was approached to do a remix for the fan-game this is going to be in, Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, but he was having a bit of trouble with nailing down the touhou style with his track. So, he went to the dev team and went "hey, I need a little help, can you guys find someone I can collab with so I can make sure I get this right?" (which makes sense when you think about it considering just how many different touhou remixes are ending up in this game, both old and new tracks alike, so of course the devs are in at least a little contact with a lot of people)
The devs got back with him pretty quick, and who did they get for this collaboration
but ZUN Himself

And then the way they did this song was that Toby decided to remix U.N. Owen Was Her?, and ZUN decided to remix Battle Against A True Hero, and then they mashed-up those remixes into this! And of course it sounds absolutely stunning

For those who don't know, ZUN and Toby basically remixed each other's songs for this. So Toby did all the Flandre parts, and ZUN did all the Undyne parts.

I remember when Touhou and Undertale fans would always argue with each other. Now the literal creators are fans of each others games, and made this banger of a crossover song. This is the good ending.

I kid you not, I started practically CRYING when the ZUNpets showed up, since that was the part I REALLY wanted to hear in the song! And around 1:30 into this video, you can hear a bit of Necrofantasia, another one of my favorite Touhou songs!

Certainly one of the best collab/remix ever! It pretty much captures all that is good and unique between ZUN and Toby’s styles in there. Toby must have been super thrilled, too, for a collab with ZUN himself!

Also, for those who don’t know. This is from an upcoming Touhou rhythm game that will be released on steam and Nintendo Switch. It was originally on the mobile but got shut down, probably because the game was too skill-based that players don’t feel the need to pay to win like most mobile games (it has gacha for cards that can help boost scores or simply allows for more mistakes so you can survive through the whole songs and such).

So, due to popular demand, it was revived on Steam and Switch and will probably make money through selling music packs rather than the card gacha.

But yeah, Toby Fox did an arrangement of U.N. Owen was Her, and Zun did an arrangement of Battle Against a True Hero, and then they mixed them together.
