Do It Yourself Fence Project Part 2 | Fencing

No Tricks or Secrets:
People spend a lot of money to get someone else, who is supposedly an expert, to do things for them. Putting in a fence is a good example. It's not complicated; it just takes a little effort and a lot less money. So get off the couch and I'll show you how I am doing it. Building a fence, that is.

In this video I will cover the simple task of mixing and getting concrete into your post holes after you have them set.

the gravel at the base is a good footing, as far as mixing the concrete I just put the bag dry into the hole and run water into the hole and I also use a stick just like you do to get the bubbles out. just about everything else is the same way I do things. though for future reference you may want to taper you post holes, a bit narrow at the top and wider at the bottom that way they are harder to pull from the ground. keep up the good work

Good fences make great neighbors! I get trolls pass my channel occasionally. How smart do you have to be to tell a fat guy "dude your really fat". I just remove lousy comments and block them. There's way to many cool and awesome people, to sweat the trolls. Nice job. Can't wait to see the pickets go up.

Nice new intro! lol, I get those type of people all the time commenting on my videos! I always check out the ppl that leave smug remarks or knock what I do. Freakin' trolls man, there everywhere! Nice project brother. My whole subdivision has chainlink fences. Not very private, but the ppl that live on all sides of me are never home or never in thier yards. I hardly see any of these ppl! Most of them are military retirees anyway...wouldn't be much help in a SHTF scenario anyway.

what happens with the gravel if you have wet/clay soil is all the water fills the voids between the gravel and your post is always sitting in a pond of water. the surrounding soil will drain into your rock pond before eventually draining down. and wear a mask next time you mess with concrete in powder please, very dangerous. besides that awesome vid series

looks like a fine job to me when i put up my privacy fence i didnt even mix the sackrete with water just poured it in dry then wet the top of it real good which is how all the farmers and ranchers round here do it

That concrete is with sand or without sand? I know that wood is not sticking to concrete. I want to fix a wooden post but i am not sure with what should i fill the hole to fix the post.
