People who agree with the comedian are also ignorant of the legal issues involved. It's Roe v. Wade which dictated abortion policy from the Supreme Court. Dobbs simply returns the issue to our elected legislators. It doesn't force any ban on any abortion.

There is an old question of which is worse, ignorance or apathy. The standard humorous answer to this question is "I don't know, and I don't care".

In this case, apathy is definitely worse. Someone who just doesn't know about fetal development could be educated easily enough if they care to be. But someone who just doesn't care about the intentional killing of innocent human beings is just a terrible person, and there is no way to cure that.

It’s even legally inaccurate as the Supreme Court sent the decisions back to the states and rectified the creation of a non existent constitutional right. This man is about as funny as he is intelligent.

I think the British satire was misunderstood here- If you listen again, he’s saying that ‘they’re brainless and yet somehow.. still in charge’ - he is referencing the Supreme Court. Not preborn children. (edit to add: as I rewatched the video, I'm english so forgot the supreme court's decision with roe v wade, apologies.
