So many club review channels out there, but I think this is the best one. Sincere and thorough.

How does the 150 compare to the 100 in long irons? I have the 150 currently but am thinking about going to the 100 to get more traditional lofts. 190 yard 7 iron is a little hot for me but I’m worried the long irons may be a bit too demanding in the 100.

Took delivery of my T150’s on Friday. Replacing my T200’s. Game changer in terms of feel and sound. ❤ my new irons…..

Demo’d the t150 today with recoil F4 shaft and they felt simply amazing. I’m generally a low ball hitter and this shaft head combo gave me the high launch and descent angles that I never had before. Getting a full fitting next week but these are certainly on the top of my list. The t100’s are a bit intimidating for me but will probably give them a go as well. Great comparison review Ross!

Fair to say in fittings T150s are for players that deliver loft, while T100s are for those that have good shaft lean?

Any chance you could review the new T irons to the Mizuno 923 Tours?

Just ordered T150's from G to 6 and T200's in 5 and 4. I hit them great on the trackman, hopefully I'll hit them as well when I get them in 2 weeks. They are replacing my Mizuno 225's.

Is the t100 similar in size overall to the MB? (Top line, sole width, head length)

In looking at a combo set with these new Titleist irons, the biggest gapping challenge is from T150 to T100... for example T150 in the 4 thru 7 and T100 in 8 and up, there would be a 6 degree gap from 7 to 8 where 4 degrees might be standard. So, how do you feel about bending at a pro shop in order to better align gapping? Do manufacturers adjusts gaps pre sale? Gapping differences are not a problem when combo-ing 350 to 200 or 200 to 150.

Thank you for your very informative tests of these two irons and also the other video with the T200 and T350 irons. I have played Mizuno MP33 forged blades for years but sold them last year and now play a forged blade called Chicago Classic with traditional lofts (34 degree 7 iron) that was produced by Bob Evans, who formerly was director of tour operations and then of production management for MacGregor Golf. The pro and fitter at the range I go to had boxes of these heads and had built a set with Royal Prestige Rifle Lite 120 gram stiff shafts. (They were developed by Kim Braly before Royal Prestige was taken over by True Temper and Braly now produces KBS shafts.) I was lucky that the person for whom my pro had built them backed out and I got the entire set, 3 through SW, new heads, for the price of a single premium brand iron. But I am now 82, have played over 60 years, so have lost swing speed and need more help. The 7 iron that carried 150 yards 20 years ago and then 140 yards 10 years ago had fallen on average to a 130 yard carry. But I could never stand super game improvement irons, like looking down at a hot dog roll. So to begin with I had a second set of the Chicago Classics built this year with Nippon NS Pro Zelos 8 stiff 87.5 gram shafts. That increased swing speed and got my 7 iron carry back to 135 yards, with an occasional 140 on a perfect shot. Still, I really want to get it back to a consistent 140 yards. I never liked Titleist irons, harsh like the old Hogan Apex irons I had decades ago. But after seeing a couple of positive reviews, I tried the Titlist T150 and T200 irons last week at the PGA Superstore in Rockville, Maryland where they have practice bays with Foresight GC Hawk monitors. Had Nippon NS Pro 950GH R flex shafts in them. Used the new Mizuno RB Tour X ball. I'm not a robot or skilled scratch handicapper like you are, so I can't swing as consistently and can get results where a single great swing with the old club will produce a longer hit than the average with a new, longer club. However, I basically saw ball speed go up from 95 with my forged blade 7 to 99-100 with both the T150 and T200. Ironically, I got the best speed, 100.3, with one shot with the T150. Carry rose from 132-134 with my iron to a consistent 141 with both, and total went from 141-145 with my iron to 147-149 with both, so both Titleist irons stopped one to three yards shorter. Spin dropped from around 4850 to about 4, 400, so not much. Height was basically the same, on average 76-77 with all, and descent angle was also close, from 44 with my club to 43 with both Titleists. Both felt and sounded really nice. So the conclusion is that Titleist is really on to something here. The T100 will appeal to scratch players and purists, but the T150 could go in the bag of almost anyone, from scratch and low single digit players who want just a bit more distance to high single digit players and even to old guys like me who have 16-17 handicap indexes. Now I have to test the T350. The sad thing is that even if these new irons could get me back some of the lost distance, budget constraints may put a damper on getting them.

Any chance you will compare either to the Callaway Apex CB's?

Speaking of iron lofts, what's the reason why most iron sets will have 3 degree gaps in the long irons, and 4-5 in the short irons? I see that's the case with these irons as well. Is it marketing tricks, or are there performance/physics reasons for it?

Also, can you test these versus what I think would be a great match up versus the Srixon ZX7 and ZX5?

I have a "Slightly" older set of Titleist irons, the 695 CB. They are traditionally lofted and hit my 7 iron about 150. My distance control is pretty good, so wondering how the T100 or T150 might help me. My driver swing speed is about 103mph. Also, i bought these irons used so they were not fitted to me.

My curiosity has opened up as i recently got fitted for the new TSR3 driver in a 8.0 deg with the Tensai Black, and all i can say is WOW!! i gsined well over 30yds with my driver and I am able to keep them pretty straight most of the time. So curious how a new set of irons might help me out if that is already the best part of my game. Any feedback is appreciated. Love the channel and just subscribed!! 😊

Great comparison, I’ve been considering new irons and was thinking Titleist because I get on so well with the vokeys. When I used them my ball striking changed drastically, it was a feel thing for me. What level of player would these suit? I play of 19 at the moment.

What shaft did you have in these? Not sure if you mentioned that.

Really hoping the 150 works for me in the short irons and blend into the 200. Does a 350 or U505 sneak in 🧐
