JBTV welcomed Brooklyn band American Authors to the studio where they performed their song "Hit It." The alt/pop band made up of vocalist Zac Barnett, bassist Dave Rublin, drummer Matt Sanchez, and guitarist James Shelley formed in 2006 at Berklee College of Music under the name The Blue Pages. After relocating to Brooklyn, the band released a number of singles, including "Believer," followed by their debut album Oh, What A Life. American Authors rapidly gained popularity due to the major success of their single "Best Day Of My Life," which was featured in numerous commercials and reached the 11th spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Hit It" is a fast-paced track from American Authors' debut album, Oh, What A Life. The song was featured in the popular video game, FIFA 14 and features a banjo solo! Sing along with the lyrics below!
