Recently, the 16th edition of the BRICS summit was held in Kazan city of Russia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi represented India in this summit. Let us tell you that the Prime Minister was on a two-day official visit to Russia to attend the summit. The main focus of this summit was on strengthening multilateralism for global development and security. Prime Minister Modi also held bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin during this visit. Along with talks on important issues like energy, food security and health, new challenges and opportunities after the expansion of BRICS were also discussed in this summit.

In other section, Recently a new statue of 'Goddess of Justice' has been unveiled in the Supreme Court of India. This statue is being considered a symbol of modern justice system, breaking away from the traditional approach. The main feature of this statue is that the blindfold has been removed from the eyes of the 'Goddess of Justice'. Which shows that now justice is not blind, but sees and understands everyone equally.
Earlier the statue of the 'Goddess of Justice' used to have a blindfold on its eyes, which was a symbol of impartiality of justice. Removal of the blindfold underlines that now justice will be done on the basis of complete clarity and evidence.
