Procedure: To perform a Mercedes Transmission RESET.
1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the run position, but do not start the engine.
2. Now press down and hold the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor, You will feel the button behind the pedal activate.
3. Count for 10 seconds.
4. After 10 seconds, while keeping your foot down on the accelerator pedal, turn the key to the off position and don't remove the key from the ignition.
5. Count for 5 seconds.
6. Now remove your foot from the accelerator pedal and wait for 2 minutes, during this time the ECU will communicate with the transmission control module, to begin the relearning process.
NOTE: This procedure does not reset the transmission, it puts this transmission in a relearn mode which will use your driving style to control the shifting and other transmission functions.
7. Start driving and ENJOY!!!
