So let's dig into my Mito Red MitoADAPT updates for 2022/2023:

✅ I've frequently given Mito Red good reviews because they had great panels. The MitoPRO 1500 achieved the number one spot on my body panel review series. Right now, the Mito ADAPT series is a new series of red light therapy devices
✅ I cannot review the MitoADAPT range yet, and that will take several months at least. So therefore I decided to bring out a MitoADAPT update 2022/2023 video to give you some insight
✅ The Mito Red MitoADAPT now have 11 different treatment modes. These modes use the dual-chip technology to shift the emphasis of the wavelengths. Each lens contains 2 chips so that 11 different combinations of wavelengths can be emitted. It looks like you can independently change the wavelengths within each of the 11 modes, so, within red light or within near infared light. With the BioMax panels from PlatinumLED, you can only change all of the red and all of the near infrared wavelengths, not within a specific wavelength spectrum
✅ The MitoADAPT should still be low EMF, flicker-free, and have modular support. The panel is also still usable with the stands Mito Red offers
✅ The 830 nanometer from the MitoPRO has been dropped for 810 in the new MitoADAPT series. Also the light will be emitted over a broad range of wavelengths, no longer concentrated around just 630 or 850nm but more like from 600 to 690nm in the red part of the light spectrum
✅ Then there's a new app for the Mito Red that allows you to control the control panel from your smartphone. PlatinumLED has also just come out with an app for this purpose and that app works really well for the BioMax
✅ The control panel for the MitoADAPT is also new and updated but I can't see much on their introductory video
✅ Also, with the new user experiences, Mito Red will collect data on what works and what doesn't, and hope to come up with new treatment programs down the road, such as different wavelengths combinations for different goals. That way, after collecting data on the 11 modes over a few years, Mito Red can come up with data-driven protocols for their customers. This logging is possible through the app
✅ I've got some feedback on this data-driven approach. First, it means people need to be consistent in using the app and their feedback, which is often not the case. Secondly, people need to provide that information in an accurate manner. And thirdly, there are many variables, as people could stand further from the panel, have their clothes off and on, might not stand in front of the panel the entire time, and so forth
✅ However, with hundreds of thousands of data points I'm still positive something very good can come out of this MitoADAPT app data
✅ And, some people might not like this data tracking from a privacy point of view. And you could easily lie on these apps
✅ Ultimately, this approach could lead to people being able to select goals in their red light therapy setup, such as "sleep", "recovery" and other ones by a click of a button if Mito Red is successful here

Answer:

The chips are arranged in quadrants of 4 as shown below

660/850, 630/850, 630/810. 660/810

Original Question:

MitoADAPT MIN

The following derivations concluded from the Mitoredlight Adapt web page: Matching Mode pictures and percentages

Mode 4: 50% 630 - All Even rows have a 630 Leds
Mode 3 50% 660 - Every Other Led has a 660 Led

If this is true, there is a dual chip 630/660 Led in positions located on even rows (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12) in every other column (2, 4, and 6).
This calculates out to be 18 dual 630/660 chips, 3 dual chips/row at 6 even rows

Mode 11: 50% 810 + 50% 850

MitoADAPT MIN: Dual chips 72; 50% = 36 for each wavelength

Total Dual chips (72) - Dual 660/630 (18) = 54 X 50% = 27; Not 36

How are they getting 50% 810 and 50% 850?

My interest in this panel stems from the increase in 810nm Leds. I benefit the most from 810nm.

I have the MitoPro1500 and GembaRed OverClocked panels. Mode 11; 50% 810 and 50% 850, would be a step in the right direction for me.

Hey Mr Alex, can you make a video about the benefits you get from using the RLT

Alex, thank for the video. I am new to investigating Red Light Therapy and my focus has been towards 810nm for the treatment of brain injury, TBI, PTSD. Until I happened upon this video it seemed as if most of the panels did output 810nm as a small percentage (5 to maybe 20%) of the total light output. When I saw your video and researched the MitoADAPT panels I was thrilled to see within the 11 modes there was a 50% 810nm only in mode #10 along with other modes where 810nm was mixed with other wavelengths. SO... I jumped in "HEAD FIRST" ordering the MitoADAPT MIN + MAX package deal which saved $100 verses buying the 2 panels separately. Then I used "ALEX" and saved another $92.45. Thanks again and we will see how this new design works soon. David

Agree 100% regarding scientific research and anecdotal user experience with different wavelengths to simplify the user interface in the future for different modalities:
Recovery, performance, sleep, tendon repair, hair growth, anti inflammation, relaxation, metabolism and longevity etc

I would love to know your opinion about the Mito Red Adapt, as soon as you have a chance to test it out. I am seriously considering buying four of those panels, but I want to know your opinion first.
This is an outstanding channel. We all really trust your honest feedback and insights regarding RLT. Thank you.

The Mega looks like a great option. 64"x20", only 66lbs.

#Mito is an awesome company. I have 3 of their panels all sizes including mini and can't safe enough good things about them from quality to value.

It appears that Mode 1, is the permanent setting for the Mito Pro
I think I will get a Mito Pro and in three years, when the warranty goes, think if I would like to move to Mito Adapt (or whatever may replace it!)

Hi Alex. It is great to have all these wave lenghts ! I would not use the app and I think my data are private and on't want to share them.

Thanks for making this video, Alex! Do you know if this new MitoADAPT allows you to control the brightness like you can with the BioMax? Also, do you think the EMF levels are higher in the MitoADAPT with the addition of the bluetooth/mobile app compared to their MitoPro series?

Hey Alex, it seems that the irradiance levels are lower compared to the Mito pro 1500 series even though the chips have doubled. I wonder if this lower level of irradiance is across all 11 modes or if some modes have higher irradiance compared to others?. Your thoughts?.

I am really looking forward to a thorough review of the new adapt series.. trying to decide if it's worth the extra money over the mitopro.. how long can a person realistically expect a panel to last before needing replacement with daily use? Thanks!

I believe there was a dual chip in the 2021 comparison

I'm confused on all the different companies of Red Light. It's awesome that BioMax had FDA Class II Medical lights. Does the Mito as well?

Hi Alex, any plans to do a comparison of the hand held, and spot targeted, therapy devices ... many of us want to get one, but can't figure out what is what, and we trust you to compare them, like you do the panels.

What kind of lights are in these beds. Are they LED or different kind of bulbs?

Can LED lights even emit infrared light? Or can they only put out red light nm frequency?

Hey Alex. Great work as always! thank you. I just read your blog od dosing. You mention 40-60 Joules for a therapudic dose (deep). Is that total front and back or need 40-60 for each side?
