Hi I’ve just bought a new iMac with High Sierra 10.13.4. It’s tellingI want to uninstall Java so I can install an older version of Java so I can run cs6.
I tried following your tutorial but when I go to the terminal it say “No Java runtime present, request install.” And a window pops up saying “To use the “Java” command-line tool you need to install a JDK”. Can you help me with what to do from here so I can uninstall Java please?

sorry i noob in terminal, so I will leave super detailed instructions:
for find directory with jdk use:
/usr/libexec/java_home -> i had
then copy path -> i copied
then go to the dir use command:
cd {your path} -> i used: "cd
you can check files in selected directory, use command:
ls
and then u can delete what u need. I deleted folder -> "sudo rm -rf openjdk-19.0.1"
