God is restoring me day by day from a trauma that happened in my marriage 8 years ago. I realize now, that my husband was unable to mend my broken heart and that I had to trust God to pick up the broken pieces and make me brand new. Even in our weakness, God is strong. This has been an exhausting journey to healing, but God has proven faithful and my hope is in him. He is truly a keeper in times of trouble. I have some bad days, but thank God my good days outweigh my bad days. Thanks for the confirmation of hope, light and the joy I hope to have back in my marriage once again. Lord Jesus, you have made us vulnerable and emotional. You also had emotions and were hurt. The Bible says we can grieve the Holy Spirit. You made us sensitive because you want us to encourage and love others. But unfortunately, this can lead to our own pain. When we get hurt, don’t allow it to turn to bitterness. Help us to forgive the way that you do, Jesus. Help us not to be so self focused or easily offended. Let our hearts go up to you in the time of trouble. You promised to be our vindicator. Excellently said! As with most of all, the Lord has blessed me to survive and come through so much heartbreak. Heartbreaks inflicted upon me by others, and others upon myself, simply because I was not obedient to His will. A few years ago, facing a major heartbreak, I cried out to the Lord saying, "Father, evidently I don't know what I'm doing! This time I want to do everything opposite to what I'm feeling and have been doing. I give up and now surrender to Your will". He responded to me, "Be Still and Know That I Am God!" Friends, I did just that. That (and other) journey's was not easy, but it has been worth it. The points Christina has made in this video are things which were included during that process. I hope you all will find encouragement and the needed strength to apply these principles (The Lord will help you). As the Holy Spirit impressed upon me that day, I now say to us all, "Be Still and Know That He Is God!" His love will get us through (I promise)!
