ZIGGURAT DI UR - RICOSTRUZIONE E ANIMAZIONE 3D

Immaginate di poter viaggiare nel tempo...
Vi ritrovate nell'antica città di Ur, nel suo quartiere sacro, in un luogo carico di fascino e stupore, quando davanti a voi vedete la Ziggurat!

Creata per volere del re Ur Nammu, alla fine de XXI secolo a.C. questo imponente monumento religioso era dedicato al culto del dio della luna Nannar.
La sua grandiosità esprimeva il potere del popolo che viveva in quel territorio.
Aveva la forma di una piramide con terrazze sovrapposte che diventavano gradualmente più piccole, e in cima era collocato il tempio dedicato al dio.
Da qui i sacerdoti osservavano le stelle, il movimento dei pianeti e credevano di poter interpretare la volontà degli dei.
Si trova vicino all'attuale Nassiriya ed è uno dei siti più famosi e iconici dell'Iraq.
Ancora oggi è il monumento più caratteristico ed enigmatico della Mesopotamia!

You find yourself in the ancient city of Ur, in its sacred quarter, in a place full of charm and awe, when in front of you you see the Ziggurat!

Created at the behest of King Ur Nammu in the late 21st century B.C., this imposing religious monument was dedicated to the worship of the moon god Nannar.
Its grandeur expressed the power of the people who lived there.
It was shaped like a pyramid with overlapping terraces that gradually became smaller, and at the top was placed the temple dedicated to the god.
From here the priests observed the stars, the movement of the planets and believed they could interpret the will of the gods.
It is located near present-day Nassiriya and is one of Iraq's most famous and iconic sites.
It remains to this day the most distinctive and enigmatic monument in Mesopotamia!
