The Best Mud Massage Ever!

Who else enjoys a good massage? I know I do! And this right here is one of the best I’ve ever had!
It’s an option you can choose during your visit to El Totumo Mud Volcano in Colombia. I visited there in 2022 during my trip to Cartagena, and it’s about a 45 minute drive outside of the city.
The volcano is about 49 feet tall and you have to climb up some pretty steep steps to get to the top. And once there, everyone is lined up to go inside the mud, which is about 7500 feet deep. A scary thought, yes! But what’s amazing is you just float. You literally cannot go anywhere and honestly, it just feels really good!
You don’t HAVE to get a massage, but the option is there if you want. And afterwards, you can go to the beach nearby to wash off.
I visited the volcano through a tour company but the visit costs no more than about $20 USD. I’d definitely do it again!
