Eric Whitacre visits with USC Thornton Chamber Singers

Celebrated composer and conductor Eric Whitacre recently joined a video meeting with the USC Thornton Chamber Singers. Over the course of an hour, students were able to ask the composer questions about his art and career, and gain insight into his creative process.

Students at USC Thornton are no strangers to learning from well-known artists who frequent our classrooms in masterclasses and guest lectures. Now, without the barrier of physical distance, the new online learning environment offers even more unique opportunities for our students to learn from the most celebrated artists in their field.
