worst part is not only did i believe it was real, but i wasnt even shocked to hear it happened in the first place. i was just like yep that makes sense. and moved on

My main problem is with Rubi. She just made it so that the next time someone in her profession comes out about having a stalker, a sizable portion of those listening will think it's another marketing stunt.

And this is why I avoid Onlyfans like the plague. It really says something about our society that this was so easily believed. Not only did this stunt ruin someone's reputation in a way he couldn't possibly imagine, but it means if an Onlyfans girl actually does get a stalker and expresses concern, everyone will just think it's another stunt. Nobody wins. Rubi Rose is a bigger menace than any of her followers.

I had this feeling from the beginning. When the "text messages" surfaced, I knew it for sure. These are so easy to fake, yet the people of the internet usually fall for this type of stuff. The worst is Reddit, you can have a field day with a good rage bait.

Rubi Rose basically just ruined a man’s entire life for some attention, she was fully aware of the problems she was causing, she just only cares about the money and the fame. It’s a shame that celebrities can just do things like this and get away with it.

When I first heard the story, that he was on MTV's True Life for having a porn addiction, then somehow lucked out and because a crypto millionaire.
Part of me thought that it seemed like a crazy amount of luck, too good to be true. But I didn't question it much because honestly I didn't care enough.

But now it's just sad that someone's social image is being degraded for the sake of some else's OnlyFans career. Without their consent mind you, they didn't know that this was what their face was going to be used for.

This hoax just cemented my dislike of this sort of thing in general. I have zero desire to watch any of Rubi Rose's content. In fact, I'm mad I actually felt worried for her. Those fake messages sent made this go from "Haha look at this dude this is just sad" to "That's both pitiful and potentially serious." I thought the dude was one step away from doing more than just a photo op with her.

Part of me wants to respect the hustle seeing as she clearly got the outcome she wanted and fooled tons of people. But a much larger part of me is disgusted. These sorts of stunts make people less likely to believe actual victims of stalkers. As for the dude - she clearly played him as well. I have some sympathy but I'm surprised he truly thought this wasn't gonna blow up. Wonder how much of that money he's gonna need to use to get rid of that tattoo, if he even can. Looked pretty detailed.
