So far there's more evidence, albeit limited, for Omicron to be a less virulent strain which is the
natural progression of virus' over time. The Spanish flu wasn’t eradicated by man; it mutated into ordinary seasonal flu in less than 3 yrs. South Africa’s heath minister reports patients not losing taste or smell like in delta, and little cough and mostly scratchy throat, unlike Delta.  Could this imply less damage to epithelial cells and vascular system?
