I love this song. So many "lost love" songs are about the singer and some person that left or died or something, but this is just the outside view of a real life relationship that just didn't work out for some reason or another. I have been listening to this song for probably about 6 years and it never gets old. I show everyone I can this song. You created a legitimate masterpiece. The instruments alone are worth listening too. Let alone your lyrics. You can leave your entire voice and story out of it. It's an incredible piece. That line though. "I thought by that age, our broken hearts have seen their worst. I thought that kind of heart ache was meant for the young but we are never too old to hurt". How phenomenal. Shakespeare would be jealous to read that. You tell your story in such a short time it is inspirational to any aspiring writer in any format. this is one of my lullabies i sing constantly to my daughter since she was 2, she's almost 4 now. the tempo and passion makes for a good lullaby even though I don't have a good voice, but she always loves when I sing this one. Thankyou for making this masterpiece.
