What do you mean we cant get signals from the observable universe? They use telescopes to gather this information, even huge space telescopes that are in orbit around earth. Tons of good videos explaining how we know these things. How we know how big each area is, is because their borders are man-made.. like a country’s border.

“How do we know this?”
It’s in the name: Observable Universe, we’ve seen it

The little yellow dot in the Milky Way galaxy was the limit of our radio transmissions. Not light coming to us. The observable universe is what we've seen with our most powerful telescopes.

Fun fact: hundreds of stars that we see with the naked eye (thousands, probably millions with a telescope) no longer exist! The further out in the universe you go, the longer light takes to reach Earth, so what we are looking at is the past. I know 😵‍💫🤯

When it comes to space, the only thing that can explain things is Mathematics, the language of the universe. That is the only universal language.

5:40 that’s radio waves but light keeps on going and there is this thing called the red shift effect in which over time light gains a red hue which we use that to determine the distance.

Lmfaooo your reaction to the Laniakea Supercluster is sheer gold and the highlight of this video

we track it with powerful telescopes pointed in one direction for years at a time.

All this knowledge about the universe has been collected over the past few centuries, mainly by observations through telescopes and scientific theories, many of these theories have been proven using these observations and maths and physics. Basically, we can see it my lad, we can see it! :D

One galaxy is about 100k to 2 millions stars and every star can host a number of planets, all of that multiplied for 2 trillions... You do the math 😅

I'll tell you this, all these colossal scales of the observable universe known to us, namely 93 billion light-years, fit into a distance equal to about 0.1 millimeters, because if you take the smallest distance known to us in the universe, namely the Planck length, and put it at one end of the logirithmic scale, and on the other end, the size of the universe we observe, then in the middle between them will be approximately 0.1 mm. So the universe is as small as it is big. I suggest that at the expense of the scale of the microcosm, watch this video "VFX Artist Reveals the True Scale of Atoms" from the Corridor Crew channel.

Anybody said we are alone is lying out their teeth 😂😂😂😂😂. We have a galactic family out there. There are advanced species that are our family. God created a galactic family. We can die and be carnated to another universe. We all live eternally spiritually

I watched this video recently, but I'm still amazed by it. And I agree with you on the aliens: no one can tell me we are the only life form in this huuge universe. Although I hope they don't find us because most likely they'll see us as to primitive and just colonize us😂😅

It will never stop amazing me. How vast and incomprehensible the heavens are. Also a strong reason to believe that God exists. Not to start a religious argument but I refuse to believe that all this came out of nothing randomly over billions of years.
