1) Bowed on his knees during rituals
2) Surrendered to bizzare rituals

Aur Bhutte seke sadmo pe
1) Made a dough amidst of traumas/shocks
2) Made a dough amidst burning dead bodies

Rishton pe hi phek gulaal
Toh ahmiyat hi kya rahi ab granthon mein:
1) Family, showing/changing colours, leaves Granth (books with teachings) with no importance at all.
2) Gulaal phekna can also be bloodshed. So, join the dots.
