I love, "not gonna talk about safety at all... common sense."

Just started plowing on my 4wheeler and it's so much fun. Thanks for the great video. 👍 picked up a few pointers.

Good info for first time plowers like me. Where I live, the first snow comes early and doesn’t melt until spring. Also, plowing a lot of gravel, along with some concrete.

Wow! I has to sift through a lot of snow plowing videos before I found this. Mostly they told how they used their particular machine to plow. But your video gives the exact info I was looking for. I just bought a Honda model T4A (TRX420) ATV with a snow plow and have NO prior experience with either the ATV or plowing snow with one. While I still need to learn my machine, you have given me valuable info as to what to do with it. And..., now in Waterville, WA, we have about 4' of accumulated snow. So I have my work cut out for me.

I taught myself how to plow on a Yamaha grizzly 660 when I was 12 years old. Im 16 now and I can't even tell you how many times I've gone over the handle bars or completely thrown the 4 wheeler to one side. Ive also snapped the winch cable a few times just lifting the snow to get it on top of the pile. I live in buffalo ny so we get really heavy snow because it is all lake effect. I've learned so much and I kinda just realized it watching this video.

A couple tips I have would be to always have a good stance on the machine and if you are on a 4 wheeler try standing while you plow. I barely ever sit because you can get a great view of your surroundings while standing which is important while plowing. Also always look both ways twice every single time you push snow to the other side of a street.

This is my first year and I have a gravel driveway how far should put my blade without pulling gravel up

Also, you need to know if it's better to snowplow or snowblow...in your particular situation. There are times when you just don't have the room to snowplow, and snow blowing is the best option.

Another tip, I coat my blade with a natural beeswax (non toxic) to prevent snow from sticking to the blade :-)

Ok as you know some UTVs have ride adjusting shocks which you need a Snail Wrench to adjust, When plowing should I set them for the harder ride?

What model Polaris is this? Are there any modifications done?

Tracks make a world of difference when piling snow. However they are expensive. We get enough snow here that they are worth it. If you live on an area with high winds then wind rowing will add to the problem. That ridge is the first place snow piles up when the wind blows across it. I keep the edges as flush as possible with my driveway and the wind blows the snow straight across. I wind row in the field where the snow piling up doesn’t matter. Now having said all that I live in the country and have room to do all this. Living in an urban Center really restricts your options.

put a snow flap on the top of the blade so you don't need to repeat a path because it boiled over
