The thing is that the original version that the brothers Grimm wrote down didn't even include a "true loves kiss". The servants who travel with the prince who are supposed to carry Snow whites coffin stumble and the piece of apple unlodges from her throat and she wakes up. They could just do that and say they want to be more faithful to the original, but that probably won't happen.

I love how this is too accurate to what Disney was doing then they were doing the production on this movie. Plus, why did Rachel even called Prince Charming a stalker? Snow White would have died and been poisoned without him. Also, yes, The seven dwarfs are the real heroes of this story, because they're the ones who informed Prince Charming about Snow White's situation. Also, since they're now removing Prince Charming from this remake, how will Snow White even revive herself? Like, what, she just managed to save herself just by being the "leader that she was born to be"? Safe to say, this movie's gonna be the worst possible remake of a classic story, that the history of the entire world has ever seen.

Fun fact, the funny Austrian dictator with the silly moustache, who started that one particular big war in the 1940s, was a really big fan of the original show white, I wonder how he would react if he saw this new version . Someone should make a downfall rant video about it

I'm glad someone finally picked up on this nuance. The prince didn't go out to the forest to save Snow White. He was actually going out there to grieve her death after hearing about what happened. He kissed her to say his final farewell and that broke the spell.
Neither he nor the dwarves knew that would save her
