When Mono starts crying, I felt my heart broke to many pieces.

You can see the innocence and charm leaving his eyes as Mono gets older indicating that he's ready to get his revenge on Six at any cost. Who could blame him though? Stuck in a hellish time loop would make anyone mad and angry.

Mono has a huge fear of being alone, and he has a box on his face because hes insecure and shy.
In the end he ends up all alone with eyes staring at him. They managed to combine two very different fears in the same room. This is his literal hell.

Mono is literally the line "Dont trust anyone, not even yourself"

The worst part is how he's not mad, he just gives up.
He's got no reason to fight anymore.

Fun fact: no matter how much we theorize and try to explain, we will not get any answers any time soon

Imagine being stuck there, suffering for years and years, without any human contact, plagued with the memories of betrayal. And then the minute you are released, you see the you before the endless suffering, and the person who betrayed you. What would you do? Exactly. Try to save yourself and probably take revenge on the person who betrayed you.

It’s even sadder tho bc he’s still a child, with a child’s mindset. Mono probably though that six was going to come back to him
