Why Does YouTube Keep Crashing?

Cleared the cache and it's still crashing.

I never had these problems until all these ads appeared on YouTube. I think that's what's making it crash.

I was having issues with Youtube videos freezing, but audio continued normally. It did seem to happens around ads trying to load, but that was not the entire cause. I went into the Google Gaming service, deleted it from the apps, restarted my android phone and the problem is resolved. This may help someone else who is totally frustrated!

It crashes when I’m transferring videos from one playlist to another too many at a time.

I tried to offload the app still didn’t work it keeps crashing every 1 hour

I open up the app and works fine until i click on a video and theres a black screen and proceeds to kick me out of it

My YouTube crashed because I was posting 4 photos on my channel and just like that it crashed. Good thing one setting is on is the crash report feature. It is helpful so if YouTube crashed, you reopen it and it has permissions to report a crash.

I don't know why Lately Youtube Crashes every time on pc not gonna lie, even with zero extensions/ add-ons enabled, it keeps making me restart every 10 seconds + minutes when i'm trying to watch a video on a playlist or individually.
(Have they screwed up the code so badly that the ads and their devilish "schemes" of making you watch more Ads than the actual video, are indeed affecting the platform more than necessary to the point that the page doesn't even work?)

I clear my cache and storage and still crashing. I'm unable to unsubscribe the app from my phone to subscribe.

I could be wrong but I think it's the latter one, where you advise me to remove YouTube & then reinstall....I've never updated it... 🤞 🙏

Or, the other reason is that you posted a controversial comment that YouTube doesn't like. My experience.

I got prime and since I got my fold 5 it crashes if I just let the video play for no more then 5 mins. Only way it doesn't is if I literally have the video open and screen on killing my battery and also annoying when playing music in the car. Always need to restart the app and select my Playlist just for one song to play for a few minutes and then crash again
