Just farmed 1.2mil gold to buy 6 wow tokens & recruit myself for RaF rewards. It became clear over many trips to the AH that prices peak midday on saturday & Sunday when players are active & buy everything...the farmers can't keep up.
Prices are cheapest around 4am on Saturday, Sunday, & Monday since all the farmers are posting that weekends loot but the buyers have gone to bed (farmers tend to stay up late...i pulled an all nighter myself 😂)
Week days less players play, farmers & buyers alike, so things still fluctuate in a similar fashion but not as extremely.
It was much more profitable to hold on to stuff after midnight and post the next day once buyers log on & buy the goodies, thus reducing supply.
