MS Color Viking (Color Line) - Tour! Modernized elevators

Показать описание
Color Viking is a 1985-built ship with three public elevators and four service. She used to go between Norway and Sweden and has been withdrawn from service since.
Thanks to all the crew members for showing me the service elevators!
Color Viking is bigger and more comfortable than the 1971-built Bohus that used to run on the same line back in the mid 2010's. The public elevators go from the lowest to uppermost deck which is very comfortable. The forward elevator is the yellow one, the aft elevator is the red and between those ones is the blue elevator. Sadly all three of them have been modernized by Heis-Tek. The elevators are most-likely built by Macgregor Navire like on the sister ship. Color Viking still used to have the original deck configuration while that of the sister ship has been altered, resulting in two service elevators being removed.
There are two service elevators beside each other near the front (on the other side of the yellow elevator) and two aft service elevators - also beside each other. All service elevators have got hinged doors. They however, have been equipped with folding inner doors. The right one of the aft service elevators by the way, did not get inner doors. But it has been converted into a dumbwaiter instead.
List of elevators (6 elevators, 1 dumbwaiter)
