Definitely interested in a light seals video, one pro tip is 100% cotton yarn works pretty dang good as lightseal replacement for where the door meets the body and won't degrade or fall apart like the foam seals.

I’ve never even thought about maintenance for my gear other than blowing dust out. Definitely gotta make sure the light seals r staying crisp

I would be interested in the light seals video. BTW, just got my first roll back from the dark room, followed all your Sunny 16 videos, and I'm so happy with the results! Thank you for your videos!

One tip for cleaning - use unscented baby wipes. They remove a surprising amount of dirt without using harsh chemicals, It's amazing how much gunk comes off, even stuff you can't see, especially on leather/leatherette. Then finish off with a microfibre cloth.

To add to the battery point: make sure you try to find the manual for your camera to see what voltage the camera is rated for. Especially with older cameras that use discontinued batteries and light meters. Using incorrect voltage batteries with the internal light meters will cause your pictures to be incorrectly exposed

That Nikomat is a gem. I found one just like it at a thrift store. I think it has the F2.o 50mm.

If you have an AE1, and the door for the battery compartment snaps off due to old plastics use CA Glue, has held up since the repair 2019.
