Doctors will charge patients consultation fees at a higher rate to include doctor's services plus the insurances for such lawsuits. So next time, dont blame doctors for higher medical bills, blame it on this person.

Let's be real here, no one does exactly what the doctors tells them to do. They might do on the beginning but later all routines fall apart.
So technically if her mother ignored her doctors advice and kept eating food that doesn't give her the proper nutrition and doesn't tell her doctor is not his fault.

This is a blame game. The girl is depressed and unhappy and angry which is very understandable but u can't blame the doctor for hoping that she would survive. What does the doctor have to gain by letting her suffer. Nothing!
And i am sure if it was detected before birth and the doctors told her to get an abortion her mother would have disagreed.
She needs a better therapist, it may sound harsh but it's the truth.

When people do things like this it makes it difficult for other patients, because doctors become scared and are unwilling to treat other patients, therefore other patients will carry on suffering.Also based on associated risk of lawsuit, medical fees and costs go up because doctors need more malpractice insurance.Being a doctor is very often a thankless job, everyone is all smiles when things go well, but if something goes wrong those same people are quick to execute the doctors, without any understanding or compassion.
