My two cent on this topic.
Sea wave amplitude are stronger near cost line than on deep sea. Gradually shallowing from deep sea bed to relative shallower bed amplify wave amplitude.

So floating platform belongs to deep see area and rooted ones belongs to shallower beds closer to the shore.

Iar pentru curenți marini, mai bine aș folosi un generator de forță gen bandă dințată cu palete din lemn( sau alte materiale) cu libertatea de mișcare de 90°.Produce tot aer comprimat, dar cu un randament mai bun față de turbine care pierd multă energie în unghiul de înaintare.
Paletele sunt semi flotante și asigură mișcarea în ambele sensuri ale curenților mareeici. De asemenea nu este un pericol fiind flotante pe fundul mării și ancorate. Un tub cu plutitor asigură alimentarea cu aer de la suprafață iar o conductă transportul pe uscat al aerului comprimat. Si nu ai probleme cu curentul electric+apă+faună. Face și drenaj.

Is there a central CURRENT DATABASE OF ALL WIND TURBINES... INACTIVE, ACTIVE STANDING, DISMANTLED along with the history and energy itemized per each unit.
Surely its much easier than tracking satellites.

Eu aș adopta o altă abordare. Un cadru tot din beton flotant, dar de formă prismă poligonală, pe care or fi amplasate coloanele turbinelor. Acestea or fi tip de etaje Darius, contra rotative, care vor antrena fiecare un etaj compresor de aer comprimat. Prin interiorul coloanelor aerul comprimat aerul este transmis la conducte îngropate în fundul Marin și ajunge pe uscat, sau, la mare adâncime (mare presiune) în rezervoare scufundate. În mijlocul acestei "curți" pot fi amplasate flotoare pentru valuri, tot cu aer comprimat. Ieftin, bun, sustenabil, productivitate ridicată. Si fără Cupru, sau adiacentelor electro, electronice.

Since all the infrastructure would be built for the windmill including a wave generator could maybe be feasible.
All that extra is what really kill the economics in wave energy on its own.

Pretty terrible what you’re doing to Maine fishing families. I wonder if your wind power can generate enough money to off set the debt to income ratios you’ll produce for everyone displaced from their fishing grounds and lobstering heritage…
