thanks a lot for the writeup .... I just have a question how did u find out about the last script.php that it runs every minute or so .
I wouldn't figure it out cuz its not on the /etc/crontabs .

on the last part, you should have used "chmod +s /bin/bash" instead of "chmod +x /bin/bash"
