Over 40 giant trout and some monster steelhead on Lake Ontario!

One of my favorites things to do in the spring and fall is to target big trout on Lake Ontario! Since Lea Anne kicked my teeth in down in Guatemala chasing giant pacific sailfish (see here) I figured it this would be a great time for me to get even with her. Our guide on the lake was Casey Prisco from Dirty Goose Charters, Casey put us on the best day of fishing on Lake Ontario that I have ever had right before the lake became a nightmare. Some of the biggest waves I have ever seen in person, with NOAA reporting waves over 10+ feet. That pushed us into the Salmon River, where we targeted SteelHead. We hook some huge fish, get absolutely POURED on, and end the day with an incredible trip yet again to beautiful Pulaski, NY.
