Been watching MotorWeek since the 80s. So good to still see it going with the legendary John Davis!

In my dragy testing, I clocked the Altima 2.0T at 6 seconds flat 0-60. This is definitely my favorite midsize sedan in this class. Love the feel, handling, powertrain, and the seats. Believe it or not, they are more comfortable than many luxury cars. Also, they get up to 153mph before hitting the limiter. They have really strong performance.

Another Altima to adorn the roads, as it flies by doing 90mph in a 35 mph zone. Complete with a spare tire that’s been on for over a year, missing hubcaps, a “buy here pay here” license plate frame, no insurance, and a cracked bumper.

I've had the Platinum AWD since 2019. Love the car all around - it did great in the Colorado snow. The 19" wheels were gorgeous but I sold them after two weeks as they are horrible kidney-busters and got 17's. The ride is still bad but tolerable. Had the car shipped with me to Germany - it does great on the Autobahn even though the cruise control wont operate past 90mph and the gas gets shut off at 120. Love the new larger infotainment screen but sad to see the fog lights deleted. Would love to see the turbo offered in AWD.

What stinks is that Nissan does not offer AWD with the VC-Turbo engines. You have to get an Infiniti QX-50 crossover for that combo.

When the review started I thought I was watching an episode of friends.

They should bring back a 2 door sentra SER, built like a Civic Type R fighter.

THey have a new color on this years Altima...something like Cloud Grey? I dont remember the name, but I think it's a gorgeous color. I find them to be far more attractive than the new Accord, or Camry myself. Nissan's CVT has certainly cost them...I wish they'd offer it in a manual. Do something that even Honda won't do any longer.

I wish nissan would bring back the SE-R altima. They were a 3.5 v6 with a manual and 260hp. It was a 14 second car not bad at all for a family 4 door car and it didn't break the bank

Does it come with bungee cords holding the front bumper on?

Still, using those Jatco transmissions, are we?

Single moms can't wait to get a hold of this car to once again put a bajillion dents in the bodywork, scratches everywhere, add a baby on board sticker and pile up the car with tons of smelly garbage everywhere.

If only they would ditch the CVT, or at least offer another option.
