"Hello, this is Seunghan.

I know that many people took the matter of my return to activities seriously, and I too am aware of the seriousness of the current situation.

After pondering deeply whether I’ve been thinking only of myself too much, whether I’m causing too much harm to the members and the company, and whether it’s really okay for me to be part of RIIZE, who should be loved, I only felt worried and apologetic.

So I think that my leaving the group is the right path for everyone.

I don’t want to cause any more hurt or confusion for the fans, and I don’t want to harm the members any further, and I also don’t want to hurt the company any further.

I’d like to thank the company and the members, who made efforts to give me another opportunity, and I’m also both sorry and thankful to the people who have cheered me on all this time despite my many shortcomings.

I truly do not want the relationship between RIIZE and BRIIZE, who were growing together while supporting one another, to be damaged because of me. It also breaks my heart to see the fans, for whom it should be more than enough to just love RIIZE, fighting with each other because of me.

I will sincerely cheer on RIIZE, whom I love, while hoping that they will receive more love in the future."

The one thing I'm glad about is that so many fandoms have come together to express their digust over this situation, the fact that the members were so happy to have Seunghan back and were away when they got the bad news and Sohee apparently cried at the airport is genuinely so saddening, the mental stress Riize and Seunghan must be under is genuinely scary, they've been 5th gens punching bag before they even debuted, I fear for all these boys and idols in general, when are certain people gonna start treating idols like human beings?

Joined SM and trained for about 7 years, almost joined NCT but officially in riize. He stayed for only 3 months and people found out he did stuff that normal teenagers do, got sent on an unnecessary hiatus. Then got deceived and used by SM as a marketing tool for keeping the good fans on their toes for his return. On his return got bullied ruthlessly and had to witness 1000 funeral wreaths sent to him by the knetz, and just two days later due to the bullying and peer pressure by the knetz to leave the group he permanently left. He deserves so much better i hope he’s mentally fine because going through all that isn’t easy

My heart breaks for Seunghan and Riize, imagine giving up your life for 7 years to become an idol only for it to be taken from you over normal things you did predebut, imagine debuting with your brother and making precious memories only for him to be taken away, these people can't call themselves fans of Riize when the members freedom and happiness upsets them, that's not a fan, the fact that it's 2024 and this is still going on is so disappointing and infuriating.
