record levels of people dropping out of the labor force, household, corporate and government debt at record highs and consecutive year over year bellow average growth (one definition for a depression), you and I see strength very differently. The Japanese have had multiple lost decades because of these policies of trying to influence markets with these methods which are an easy to implement solution patch for policy makers, never has such policies been successful in providing for long term growth. The only place going up is some stocks thanks to markets being flooded by now continued (what happened to the rate hike if the US economy was so strong?) near 0 interest rates.
